The OC spiked ligament staple is a titanium staple used to fasten and stabilize a ligament injury, such as a torn ACL or MCL. It is inserted with a staple holder. Osteocare-presented ligament staples have sharp spikes on one side which penetrate the ligament & secure it in place. The staple also reduces the risk of motion of the ligament and helps protect it as it heals. It is available in a sterile and non-sterile pack.
